Not running the Knoxville half marathon does not prelude Hoss from sneaking over to SAS for a quick test drive of the Teele Mobile - hot, very hot. I also understand that the next iteration at SAS is to slip the Tribeca six-cylinder into an SAS Cabriolet - no turbo more power. Scarey ....

Hoss had back surgery on Thursday and it went well ... ~Alan

Well gang, everything went well with the back surgery. It took longer than the doc anticipated, about 2 hours. Was kept over one night...went home Thursday PM. I'll have to lay low for a while. No Knoxville 1/2 marathon this year.

I read the Tribeca comes with a 3.6 litre 6-cyl rated at 256hp. That's a lot heavier chunk of metal for only another 6 hp over the 2.5 Turbo version. I bet the low-end torque is going to pull some G's on the ol' neck bones! Steve is going to run a Dyno prior to re-delivery, so I will post final numbers when I see the results.
Well Scott, there's room in the trunk for a drag chute if those power brakes begin to fade.
