HOTEL DEL SPEEDSTER RUN

Okay you speedster owners. The time has come to organize our annual speedster run to Hotel Del in Coronado. The route is being determined and arrangements are being made for parking. A tenative date of Saturday June 23rd is our target date.

More information will be forthcoming. Keep a lookout on the "Events" site for updates.

Wish I could make this one but I'm gettin' hitched the next day so I'm pretty sure I will be busy with last minute stuff for that. I'm sure it will be a blast though!

That's a big... maybe. My 11-year-old Josh will be here from North Carolina that weekend--has anyone here ever squeezed their kids in the back? The guy who built my car used to put both of his sons in it so he installed two rear seatbelts.

Maybe Susan will make a Glen Ivy run that day and free up the right seat.

Also, I've never been to that hotel, what do we do there? Maybe Josh and I could be in for the cruise then detour to Sea World.

Lots of maybes, but I'll try my best to make it.

Stephan - here's another shot of Gabe's car from that cruise he referenced - a sunset cruise through Laguna Beach culminating at Ruby's (50's diner) for burgers, fries & milkshakes!

i know this is the wrong forum but a question...at the last cruise Larry was telling me about a local place in Escondido that could repair the top of the '30 year old wonder'....and i forgot the name of it!! does anybody know?

Count me in! Auto Internationals just did my German square weave carpet, they do excellent work. It is worth goign over there just to ogle over the cars they are working on

I am in... if I can get the Speedie tuned-up and ready... LOL... of course I have to check out time of departure too. Can't have Lili get too cold going down to Diego...

P.S. Adrian congrats on your pending "Hitching" your words.. LOl.. We should of driven your wedding party for you.. Could you imagine all the speedies at that reception! .. Ok, Ok, Jim and I will eat outside..

I don't know who's more crazy - her or me! In all seriousness though, I'm one of those guys who actually LIKES being married (this will be the second time around for me). I'm a family man -- not a stallion who trolls bars looking for a "score." And she's a GREAT girl. I wonder if she knows what she's getting into (with me)????!

In any case, I'm pretty sure I'll be tied up with wedding stuff that day seeing as the wedding is the next day. If not, I'll fire up the Speedy and join you guys for sure.
