How and what do the knobs do?

I have a CMC that had some switches to control light, high beam, wipers and emergency lights and I want to get the knobs that look more original. It looks like Vintage has 3 knobs that thy use can someone explain from left to right what they control. Also do they pull out or turn to work?

i spent quite a bit of time doing homework on where to put my dash switches. i found that there are many different true porsche configurations - depending on the year.

here are some for reference:

pre-a, a few a's, and a totally bad-ass '49 i regularly drool over








you'll see most have 4. two on the left and 2 on the right. i went with a more simple, one on the left and two on the right.

left: pull vw headlight switch

right: vw ignition (no accessory on mine - which i would recommend getting if you are buying/sourcing a new one)

right: vw washer / wiper switch. i had to get really creative for this. i took the switch all apart and put in an electrical switch where the vacuum one was (button in the middle). i didnt want any other dash switches.

all my other switches are below the dash (air suspension, fog lights, heated seats, etc)

On a twin dizzy carreia withe four camme thy put 2 small switches near the turn indecators 2 ignition switches
