In just over two years the southern California sun had turned my original "red" Beck carpet to an interesting shade of "yellow" and caused it to molt quite a lot. The red Beck carpet looks great in the car but it is not a durable, long lasting carpet.

I had Russ from Fibersteel replace the carpets and seats in my new Beck before I picked it up from CBM. He used a nice tight weave carpet and original style seats. The interior looks much better than the Beck originals. In fact I believe CBM has now listed the interior change as one their options.

I lost my dad last year, He was a sculptor and master welder. He would have been able to make it look like a million. I miss him, think of him everyday. He and I (I was 13) built a bugatti kit car in 76. He would love the spyder.
