Nolan, I have been watching the forecast, you guys have been having great weather since mid Feburary. Enjoy it. I have about 10 years here my youngest will be almost 22 then. Marty & Sandy will be snowbirds then. I have been eyeing Sedona weather, I like the way it's 75 and sunny in the day and 45 at night during spring. Not sure how hot summer is?
Marty, you got it half right! Put on some old Joe Jackson for drivin' tunes, or some Green Day if you want. They both make me go FASTER!

Drove it a few times, like 5 or 6 so far this year. Probably will be mowing the lawn after this weekend's deluge dries out. Pretty soon the good weather will be here, should be low to mid seventies this week.

Hopefully Saturday will be nice, PCA club race and hospitality tent at Lime Rock on Saturday. Got to find my PCA card..... Lenny, Dan O'Connel, ATTENTION!!!
Lane's right - the WX has been pretty much perfect here since February. The kids are in Massachusetts and the only decent weather they've had since Christmas was when they joined us at Disney World!! Been house painting and deck staining for a week and yesterday was the only day of rain (in the pm) so got lots painted and a nice tan to boot.

Went to the car show at the Port Royal soft shell crab festival today.....beautiful sun, temps in the mid-80's, great food, GREAT scenery - What's not to like??

Oh, and getting ready for Carlisle? I'll be changing the oil, xmission fluid and coolant in my truck - hope to get the windshield on Scarlet tonight.
Spring Break in Puerto Vallarta.
Talk about feeling old and in the way! I took my 2 knuckle heads (boys 19 & 22) down there last week to reward them for good grades. On the 1st day, I got hit on by 4 different pimps. My boys went bat-shit crazy chasing girls & tequila. It's a good thing they had a chaperone is all I can say.
........Call me: "Way GLAD to be home"!
Great!! Temps are staying cold so the ice road out to the primo kite skiing places on Great Slave Lake is still open. Almost everyday is sunny, I've got a deep tan from being out there skiing 5 or 6 days a week. Can't complain one bit. Last weekend took the twin 4 year old grandsons out and pulled them around the lake on a sled behind me. They had a great time. Hopefully this cold weather holds well into May so I can get some sking in right up till June. Going to be minus 22 tonight they say.
Marty:

If you like the sound of Arizona and Sedona think about Flagstaff. Lived there awhile when working for a genetics research company. Never too hot or too cold and about an hour down the mountain to Sedona. You get snow but the volcanic soil is so porous that the minute the sun comes out it starts to disappear. The road down from the Mogollon Rim to Sedona is a great twisty, the scenery is spectacular and there are many great drives in fresh mountain air.

4th time living in Illinois. If it weren't for my twin 10 year old boys being in a great school, and Peoria being a great place to raise them, we would be gone as well. Just back from Hawaii today and drove from O'Hare to P-town in the rain and the 46 degree weather early this morning. What a change from 86 degrees on the Kona coast.

Sooner or later, we're outta here.
