How much more legroom can I expect to gain on a Vintage Speedster if I remove the some of the padding and reaupholster or go with the 'bucket' style seats? The bolts are as far back as they will go. So those are my two options. I am 6'2, 34 inseam.

Wow....I never thought I would be giving my measurements this group. :) (46 Long on the Jacket)

You might sit in one before you make this decision, but for my husband, the speedster buckets make for a great deal of room. We don't have a speedster, but our cool friends do and have let Steve sit in and drive them.

Steve is 6'2, 34 inch inseam, jacket size is a 44 or 46. In a speedster, with speedster buckets, he has a great deal of room.

Justin,

The speedster buckets made the difference for me. Only, I found that the one's from JPS were a lot more comfortable. Pinched my back less (the back rest is less concave) and were also more rigid. The Vintage one's were like a wet spaghetti noodle when i cornered...they would just flex.

I am 6'2", 195lbs, 42L and on a good day when not swimming in a cold pool...oh, nevermind.
