I am picking up my Porsche SC tomorrow morning and towing it home, about 4 miles. It is a rolling chassis now, it has the flared wheel wells, but how can I determin who created this kit? The old man I got it from has had it for years, has a box someplace he say's full of parts and papers, but,,, he can not remember what or where he placed the box!!!

Is there any markings anywhere on the body?

Thanks for any help.

OK have pulled it out from under all the brush, kind of washed all the tree sap from it, found out 3 tires had air!! Aired the 4th and pulled it home, no doors, it has headlight frames and chrome rings, looks to me it has had a real rough life so far. Trunk and engine covers steering wheel, that is about it.

If I knew how to post pictures here we sure took a bunch and would be happy to post them.

I will look in the areas mentioned tomorrow and post my find.

Thanks

Mike

Does anyone have two doors??
What makes you think my two doors (if I had them) would fit YOUR two door openings? Different manufacturers, different molds, "illegal" splashs from someone elses body, customized bodies, second hand molds some manufacturer "reworked" to his own standards, etc, etc, etc. Even if the outer panels fit, be very careful of hinge lines and front cowl interface. Wish you all the best. I am sure you will be a forum expert on body panels before spring.
Posting pictures is snap - but they have to be very small file size (under 150k) unless you pony up the $36 contribution. Click on Regisrty, your name, then photos.

Even without pictures - my guess would be a CMC or FF since there are many unfinished ones out there. Is the engine grill there? If it is cast aluminum and looks like a hibachi then CMC/FF. They did not mark the body anywhere but came with a small id plate that could be riveted on. What gauges does it have?

Go to the Library and look thru the CMC manual there too.
