Hey guys, I pulled the bulbs from the rear tail lights and for the life of me can't figure out how to put it back in the housing?   Is there a trick to it?

THeres these "teeth" around the bulb housing that goes into the socket.   If I bend them a bit, it goes in the housing but its loose.  If I don't bend those teeth, then I can't get it in the housing...  ugh.

I used that same gasket. Can't remember where I got it.

The rear lights are especially tricky since you're reaching in blind through that access hole and probably standing in an awkward, bent-knee stance while you're at it. Best is to not bend the tines much (if at all) ahead of time, but hold the light socket so you can "feel" that last tine as you plug the assembly into the fixture. You'll want to come in at a very slight angle, get all the close tines in, then press down a little on the tines that are still out, as you rock the socket into the fixture.

Good luck.
