To open the front (trunk), there was a pull-lever under the dash alongside my left knee. To open the back (decklid/engine cover/hood), I had to use a pinkie and hook into the grille to lift it.
Very high-quality assembly by previous owner. Top-notch.
For the rear opening, you might want to look behind your driver's seat, alongside the door jamb at about shoulder-level when seated. When I hacked up my body, there was a little copper tube there inside the fiberglass that ran to the decklid latch bracket (on the body, inside the decklid), although the P.O. never made it work.
The copper thingie for the decklid is distinctly different from the convertible top assembly holes. Those were steel on my car.

Congrats on the new ride!
I have same CMC issues, and am experimenting with a gas spring in the deck to allow for an "easier" opening- would look pretty cool too I think.. Now I use the "pinky" method and I stick a pin into the little hole in the hinge to keep it open. If/when I have success with the spring I'll post it up...with mounting location pics - that's the deciding factor
