I made the tool to fit into the holes and am able to pull the hubcap loose from the clips. It won't come off and feels as if there is something in the center because rocks back and forth. I had enough space to get my phone in and could see the 3 pins that hold on the Porsche emblem onto the hubcap, but can't see anything that is holding the hubcap on... I can spin the hubcap but not take it off. Is there something I'm missing.

Well I'm stumped!
My guess would be the the clips have opened up a little bit and are grabbing onto the outermost edge lip of the hubcap. You will have to press inward on the clips to free them from the inner lip of the hubcap. That may also entail bending them which might require you to get new clips.
Roberts answer would apply if you have 5-lug wheels but not for 4-lug. They (4-lug) don't have the clips.
Which kind of wheels do you have?

Michael is correct. On the four lug rims the hubcap fits over the bumps on the rim itself and shouldn't catch on anything.

They are 5-lug wheels.
Thanks, Everyone. I was able to get a large screwdriver in there and bend the clips in - fortunately without damaging them or the hubcap. I'm a new owner and really appreciate the feedback.

Congrats. Before you put them back on take a close look at the clips themselves and compare the clips that caught the hubcap to the other ones and see if they're different. Also compare the inside edge of the hubcap to the others. Somewhere in there is a fix for the issue.
