I have 2 big cracks in the fiberglass in front of where the windshield post go. I am guessing it is from the pressure of when the top is up pulling on it. Is there something I could do to help prevent this?

Doc... Mat... The picture resolution doesn't show very good detail.... It's not the same problem I had.... From what I can see, it seems the cracks are at some of the holes used to hold down the bottom aluminum piece...... It would be best to have another pic ( close up ) of the crack(s) at the hole(s).... It took me several days to fix the disaster on my car, but I got it right....
I can put one up later. I am reinforcing the bottom of the glass and also filling the top cracks with epoxy but I was wondering if I should put a metal plate or something under it to help support the load. No there are no cracks by the windshield wipers.
