You may luck out and have a Speedster based around a single donor, check the VIN, research the number on the web and you're all done.

Otherwise a couple of answers to these questions and we can hook you up.

Swing axle or IRS rear suspension?
Link pin or ball joint front suspension?
Disk or drum brakes up front?
In the rear?
Five lug or four lug wheels?

Answer these and I'll let you know what years your brake components fall within.

luck!

I would be a good idea to get a vw chiltion repair manual at a auto parts store thats a good cheap education. and usally answers most questions up front for you. Then when you have a good idea of what years car its based on Spring for a Bentley Repair manual for the correct years
I like the Bentley manual for a Bug, 66-69. It covers everything we could need, 6v and 12v, swing and IRS, 4-lug and 5-lug, and I know it has balljoint front end but not sure about linkpin. Less than $30, maybe $20 depending on where you get it.

Also, 68 Bugs had 4 lug wheels AND a swingaxle, kind of rare but they do exist.
