I've been dreaming of a Speedster or Coupe replica (I can't decide!) and I found this site through JPS's site, so I'd thought I'd join now.

I'm planning on getting in touch with them shortly, and since I'm local, stopping in to check out the cars.

I'll be reading through the site to find answers to the many questions I have, but just wanted to say hi!

That'll be awesome! I want to see a few up close before placing an order.

Bob, I just got back from Southeast FL and the weather was cool by FL standards, 73-75 and full sun; it was perfect top down Speedstah weather.  If I could have teleported the IM down there so I could show all those Lambos, Ferarri's, and Bentley's how we cruise old school.

Panamera's where like Kia's,they where everywhere.

The hippos are everywhere around here, too.

Marty:

We were down a few weeks ago for spring training in St. Pete and we had one day of 75 and a week in the 50's. Still had fun.

I know what you mean about south Florida. All those cars have their cool factor, but I'll just bet your IM would create more buzz than just about anything else you run into down there. When everybody has an exotic, your Speedster becomes even more unique!

Thank you! I don't know the next time I'll be down in SD, but whenever that'll be, I'll be sure to stop in!

I'm looking through your site, but I cannot seem to find it, can you point me to where I can find a gallery of the cars your company has built?

I'm in central Florida and yesterday I had my 430 Spider parked on a boulevard for lunch... Few minutes later a speedster parked across the street.....the speedster had just as much of a crowd around it (me included) as my car.

Just love these cars! ....cant wait to get one.

Mentok - I am in the South Bay area of Los Angeles, and would be glad to share some of my thoughts and experience in searching for a car locally, and finding one that was perfect for me.

I will second Lane's comment on the amount of attention your Speedster will get.  I've had Porsche Turbos and Ferraris, but the Speedster gets the most looks across the spectrum, men, women, kids all have a smile when they point and/or take pictures.  I am always spotting someone in my mirrors holding their phone up snapping a pic.

Yesterday I was walking back to my parked Speedster from a store run and, as I leaning into the passanger side putting my bag of stuff in the passanger seat, I saw a guy pulling his BMW into the parking lot and pointing to his girlfriend seated next to him to look at my car.  As I walked around the front of my car to get in I heard an expensive sounding "crunch".  The guy cut the parking lot entry a little too sharp and drove his BMW over a double curbed divider.  His car stoped as a metal pole in the curbed area made an expensive connection with his passanger side quarter panel just past the front tire.

As I pulled out of my space I noticed the guy had backed out of the situation and was inspecting the damage to the side of his 5 series.  I would guess about $3k in bodywork, paint and any front suspension damage.

I couldn't help but think that the Speedster caused the distraction.  It wouldn't surprise me.
