Ha - there's probably a minimum charge but only $1.50 at CIP1 - sure you can pad for free shipping provided on a $75 order though.

If I can find the old OEM one I had - I'll mail it to you. To been complete, you need the short rod used for the handle on the combo lug nut/sparkplug removal tool. I do agree that commonly used tool (i.e. a big screw driver) quickly messes up the rim and the hub cap.

Or you could just make one in 15 seconds with a coat hanger and needle nose pliers.
Regretfully, a coat hanger is not nearly stiff enough.

I'm hopeing for a nice snow storm. nothing like DC and 23 mil extra people and the roads closed to add to a snow storm.
If your taking the day off I might try and come over that way to check on my car at RPM.
On the hubcap puller. I found a screwdriver that was designed with a bend and is about an half inch long then a 90 degree to the handle. Work great to put in the hole and pull off centers.

I'll bet those aren't $3.00 plus shipping if you can find one. That really is neat. Were those standard equipment with the new porsche's? Back in the day when they put real equipment and large spare tires in cars.

I really don't know WHAT car it was meant for. It came in the
box-o-stuff that I recent picked up from the guy who originally had my Pre-A.
There were a lot of neat little things, I'll maybe post a link or two
to when I take more pictures.
The angled cross bars are perfectly positioned to use the lug wrench end
without scraping your knuckles on the tire or rim or those nasty hub
cap clips, and the bar fits precisely on the perfect part of the tire bead
when the little hooks are inserted into the hub cap holes. One arm
against the bead, the other slightly lifted to grasp it and lift upwards.
Really a great combination tool. Probably one on TheSamba right now
just waiting for you.
