HUB CAPS-for 4-bolt VW wheels needed.

Now I know as much as I have been reading these listings and all of the parts that I see are available that someone has to have an old set of hub caps for VW 4 bolt wheels that are gathering dust and need to go to make room for some new toys. If so, Please let me know.

If you just mean four basic VW hubcaps . . . with the VW emblem stamped into them, get in touch, I know that I have some somewhere.

However, if you want blank caps for a Speedster and nobody has any for you, here's a pretty nice set for short money:

Pop on some Porsche crests and you'll all done.

Those on the SAMBA look a little used - hence price. I have like new set that I was going to do exactly what TC recommended. High quality chrome unlike the new replicas.

As Wolfgang points out, the new repros are essentially junk. Thin metal, single chroming process, no nickel under plating.

Honestly you can count ANYTHING made in the past five or even ten years as just rusted trash waitin' to happen. If those Porsche crests are real (with the script on them) it might be worth getting them for the crests and Wolfgang's caps to finish off the deal.

Really, might as well buy right the first time out rather than buying again in a couple of years.

I appreciate all of the help as I am just starting to donate to the speedster fund and don't want to have to donate twice for the same thing. I have sent wolfgang an email but he must be out and about this weekend, and I don't blame him either. I am sure I will hear from him in the next few days. And I might have to take a valium after I hear the price from him.
