Just had my 4 wheels road force balanced on this machine hope they help give me a smoother ride. It seems a much more sensitive and precise process the tech found that the previous tech had put on 4 oz of weights where they only needed less than 2 oz... the verdict will come once we can get her on the road .... Snow is being washed away by rain hoping to get out in the next few days

Were they balanced with the wheels on the car, Ray?
No Al, on a machine that spins it and applies road force pressure (2000lbs) and checks for out of round rim and out of round tire and does the balancing.

Hunter Road Force is an awesome balancing machine, but it's only as good as the operator.
It takes time to balance the wheel/tires properly, because the tire has to be moved to get the best balance.
Miatas are known for their 70 mph wheel shimmy problem and the only way I could get rid of the shimmy was to find a shop with the Road Force balancer and an operator who cared about his work.
