hahah yes indeed! Took my first ride from LA to Torrence to a friend's house! very sweet ride. took me 50 minutes. Kind of scary on the 405 with all those big trucks passing by you. MusbJim thanks! looking forward for those events!

Your car looks great. I am brand new to SOG. I flew to LAX on July 8 and ordered my Speedster from JPS Motorsports. I'm still waiting to hear from John Steele. It's been a long time. How much longer should it take? I don't mind as long as it's perfect. Mine will be painted Carmona Red, does anyone have a picture of one this color?

Ron and Eli... looks like we have two new guys here in So Cali driving our tubs... NICE... As the boyz have said WTM ... That being said you need to get in on our So Cal drives and meet the gang... Hopefully by that time Ron, you'll have your ride from John... we enjoy our selves here and look forward to meeting you guys on the road here in so Cali...

Anyway, we all wish we could ride all year w/ the SoCal boyz, but it is just not going to happen.  I did fly out there one week end a while back and putsch around Moro Bay and environs one spring.  Very cool.  But GA is not the end of the earth, except maybe in August.  We have folks down there, So. Carolina, Arkansas, etc.  What I will suggest is you look here for threads in Events that will start up any day now about the big bash in Carlisle PA in May.  Last year over 50 cars and 80+ people.  From the mid-west, down south, etc.  Caravans form up.  Some take a few days to get there.  It is very cool fun.  We have had brethren from SoCal fly in just for the event.  And traveling w/ a group in a caravan takes some of the stress out -- someone to bail you out if needed, extra tools, and so forth.  Just don't let Lane tune up your carbs.  ;-)    He's in SoCarolina, I think.  Anyway, give it some thought.

Ok Kelly, it looks like you're going to have to do something really memorable at Carlisle as people seem to have trouble remembering who you are.  I suggest drinking heavily.
