I scored this on eBay a couple weeks ago. It looks like it'll clean up OK. But what do I have and I don't have any hardware with. Should I McGyver or is there a repro of this rack available, where i could just get the hardware.
Thanks in advance,
Luke

Luke, you bought a Lietz rack, offered as an option by Porsche for the 356 cars, and as an aftermarket piece by many independent shops. A very nice set of mounting bolts/hardware is available from NLA in Reno for about $30. The set inclues the bolts stand-offs and the nuts to tighten the stand-offs. The stand-offs thread into the holes in the rack and the bolts go thru the rack and stand-offs. NLA also has new White Buffer Strips that install on the "wings" of the rack. The buffer is one strip that you cut into 4 pieces. ($23)

NLA is at P.O. Box 41030 Reno, NV 89504, 800-438-8119, or by fax at 775-626-1220. Great quality stuff, but I always call them to order.

I did not see a web address or email address in their catalog. I do think they have a very simple web page but I dont recall the URL.
