It was really nice here today, so I ditched all responsibility and took a nice, meandering ride. I came across an abandoned train station and thought it would make a cool backdrop for some pictures...and it would have if I didn't suck at pictures. Out of about a million shots, I may have gotten one I don't dislike...

The trick is to take a lot of pictures. 1 million isn't enough!

Thanks for the kind words, gentlemen. What I see is never what I get. I have in my mind what the photo should look like, but it doesn't. I must get tunnel vision. I'm forever missing the shadow/litter/giant blue dumpster in the middle of the frame.

Thanks, Gerd. I do too. I finally got it dialed in and it's a real pleasure. I put about 200 miles on it yesterday in everything from twisty country roads to Baltimore rush hour and it performed perfectly.
I like Beehives
I was going for the 1956 Carrera look with the beehives and no louvers. Although, the luggage rack kind of negates the purposeful Carrera look, it was one of my wife's only requests. My Meister Schaften badge says 1957, so I need to get an earlier one.
