Looks like a Type 3 (Squareback) roof grafted onto a Beetle.  Very interesting.

Good Eye, And I'm not trying to sound like I'm from down under.....

It is actualy from the doors forward a 56' Beetle, including the entire pan, rear quarters and rear parcel area behine the rear seat with the fire wal and engine bay intact. From the window line up in the rear it is a 70' square back. From the window lines down it is real wood over the steel, from the windows line up and the dash and interior panels are painted wood look. But the headliner is just like a real woody with the stained wood slats..... All and all this is a fun little car......

I'll bet it is.  Nicely unique.

Gotta still make the roof rack for this surf board but the paint job is coming allong
