I’m looking for a carburetor or kit for my swinger front loader 100 it has a continental four cylinder engine and the motor model is 688-48 Is there anyone that could help me out.

Looks like a VW Beetle Solex carb. They are available new still.
No numbers or part # tags on it?
I see a manual cable choke and not the normal electric choke. Old Massey Ferguson tractors used the Continental 4 cylinder engines. It looks clean - was it rebuilt? You might get a std Solex $25 rebuild kit and take it apart and clean it.

needs bigger main jets, adjust the float,needle out 1.5 turns, only 1.5 lbs. fuel pressure.no wonder i sold my speedster,what a pita carbs(webber) are,,yes i know its not a weber, looks like and old solex..
The early '55-70 CJ jeeps used Solex carbs on the F head engines.

It ain't the carbs, it's the operator/maintainer/mechanic of the carbs.
