Boy talk about inflation, look at this post, this same car was for sale here @ $18,500.

Funny, in the thread you cited above there is post by Stan that the car was under priced by 50%. The current owner agreed!
I don't understand the prejudice against dealers by some members. You or I may not want to use one, but they are an integral part of the hobby. They advertise, sometimes widely, and, of course, their prices reflect dealer mark-up, just like used car dealers everywhere. Their higher prices make private sales look like a real bargain, so I don't see why private owners would object. It's a great entry point for first-time lookers, who can get a ride in a replica for the price of a trip to the dealer's showroom, then decide if they want to pursue other market options.
Art, thanks for the link.
Without see the car close up, I'd say the original price was a very good one.
Personally, I like the yellow exterior color, but not with the red interior. A chocolate brown, or black would have been a better combo.
Still, as I mentioned in my original post, I like this car.

I'm not sure if you can classify my distaste for BHM as a prejudice. Prejudice is preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience.
I have had a few first hand interactions with them and I can say that they have always been rude and condescending. More than half of the cars they list on their site, are no longer available. One person on this site had a deal all set on a car which was for sale by a private party. When they went to pay their deposit they found the car had been purchased out from under them by BHM.
Those are just three examples of why I justifiably don't care for BHM.
Nothing prejudice about my opinion.

I remember this one also. Was it completed at the time it was priced at $18,500??
I also liked this car, don't mind yellow or red interior, but together this looked like a Ronald McDonald RSK if he owned one.

Frank;
As I recall it needed seatbelts and some other minor details. Check the link to the thread above.
