AH yes, once more with feeling mes ami!
If you spend this, you get that.
If you spend a little more of this you get a little bit more of that...and then if you you want to spend THIS, oh man, do you get a whole lot of nice THAT!

Now as to filling in manufacturer names with the ol' this and that, you're on your own!

Just be certain after reading through this forum that you cull out what you like about the various cars and how they are equipped, then you can ask the builders what it'll cost to build something to your every specification and ultimate satisfaction! Seriously, plan ahea

Ron,

I didn't forget IM, just thought he could see 4 of the 5 in one fact filled couple of days. I don't know where he lives. I would like to visit IM one of these days myself. I have admired Henry's cars for quite awhile now.

It is kind of fun doing the research on these tubs, thank God for this site. I know I read all the threads and posts for several months before taking the plunge.

I make a really cool one for 28G. You may have seen my ads on E-Bay. I live in WS and AZ, but HQ here in Oklahoma for the cultural diversity and lack of hills.

Ok, I don't really make a Speedster Replica. You came to the right site Daniel and you came to the right thread. Paul really gave you good advice. Know your budget first.... you can have the best made Speedster available at 12-60G depending on what you pony up.

Seriously, we are all a little reluctant to speak out here because we all are proud of our individual cars & because we all try and get along here with mutual respect for individual choices.

Do your research and then write owners privately. We may be more forthcoming in a private e-mail.

Good luck Daniel and welcome to the site.
Well, the original Speedster maker was Porsche, but I'd beg to differ about the "best" part. A pretty good argument can be made for a well thought out, modern replica on a lot of different levels. They are probably better cars- not original, and therefore worth less- but durable, usable, and customizable, and therefore better. I'll take a well thought out fiberglass car with a more powerful engine, and better brakes for half the money any day.
