Gents, The Original Merlot has been in storage since Linda passed in 2016. I'm trying to get back to myself. My speedster has not moved since. I would truly like to here from the members that remember me. I'm now 79, but still going. Any contacts will be very gratefully appreciated.

Aaron I do recall you from the past. Welcome back and all the best to you.
Good to be back. Merlot needs a good going over before she travels. My other driver is a Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet . More comfort for the aged bones. Question>>>Is Iron Ass still around?
You are referring to Jack Crosby? Yes he is.
How are the knees holding up?
Hello Aaron, Nice to seeing you posting here again...roll out the speedster and enjoy ~

I think Jack prefers 'Iron Butt'...

Hey Aaron! Glad to hear from you but very sorry about Linda.
I no longer have my Speedster due to a wreck last year, but am getting a new toy built by the Beck boys. Next time I’m up that way I’ll look you up.
Hello Aaron---great to see your post. I had no idea that you lost Linda---so sorry for that . Well thee have been various attempts to run me off but I still have too many friends here to bail now. Don't sweat 79---I was 80 last month and all systems are still operating to my surprise after the abuse I have put upon myself over the years. Glad to see you are traveling in style with the 911---that was always the way you roll. Give me your phone # in a PM so I can call and catch up. Come to Carlisle this year---a lot of folks including myself would love to see you as well as some wonderful additions since you attended. If Merlot isn't ready, the 911 would be a fine ride. My son Russ will be driving his 911 that a friend gave him at a Carlisle awards banquet event 5 years ago for his birthday---pretty good friend, huh?

Aaron, you houndog ! Get yer butt back up/over to Carlisle....this pic shows how you do it. If you don't show up, 1/2 the entertainment is down the drain...
Very sorry to hear about Linda. But excellent to hear from you again !

Welcome back Aaron, so sorry to hear about Linda; the pain will go away slowly but the memories will last forever.
Aaron...how about you check over the Speedster, throw a couple tools in the car and a couple changes of clothes and head for Carlisle? Your Speedster extended family will be eagerly awaiting your arrival
Welcome back, Aaron. Let me know if you need anything.
x2 on Carlisle! Here's your banquet form.
Here's the main Carlisle thread. (12 pages and counting, as is our custom).

They are still working...just slower and slightly stiffer.

Merlot has been stored and I’ve not found anyone to get her ready and the /$&/ 911 blew the belts off on a brief drive around the lake.

Slowly getting use to being alone. That’s why I posted here. Need to get out and quit being a recluse. Merlot has been stored and I’ve not found anyone to tackle the get’er ready. I can replace the battery but not sure about cleaning the fuel system. Remember my engine is a one off by Pat Downs. 92 mm x 72mm electronic ing. Etc.. Drove the 911 around the bay, the belts let go when I raised the engine cover.
Crazy world!!!
