Well, I finally decided on a Vintage Speedster. I talked to Kurt about buying a "roller" with IRS. I live in Arcadia Ca. so it's an easy drive down there and they give me the "pink' for the floor pan. Those turned out to be primary decisions and thanks to all of you for that and some other things as well. I am doing the transaxle right now. I am using a Rhino case and found a good used ZF limited slip differential. That, coupled with some close ratio gears and all the other improved hard parts should keep me out of trouble in that department. Next will be the engine. About 2.2 liter with a couple of 44 webers etc. I'm still up in the air about the Bernie Bergman fan system vs a OEM dog house system. So that's it so far. As soon as i get the transaxle finished, i will take it to Vintage so they can start on my "roller" Yah hoo !!!!!!! I really must be Mad !!!!.........Aircooled

That's a prerequisite for membership, AC.
Nix the Bernie Bergmann shroud. Search this site for feedback you will see what others have experienced.
LSD! You build the whole car around that. Good find!

I'll second that.
I'll third that.
Find a nice 1971 or newer fan shroud with all of the (working) air vanes in it and a working thermostat, PLUS the larger fan and larger "dog house" oil cooler.
Can't do better than that.
Sure, the Bergman shroud looks cool, but do you want to look cool, or be cool??
