I am trying to get the right stuff for my build and have done a lot of searching but I want to post this to see what you guys think.
I need a new gas tank and want to still have a spare, what is the biggest size I can go?

What is a good electronic fuel pump to get?(Is a pressure regulator a good idea and if so which one)

What is a good oil cooler to get?

I am looking for good brands that you guys have used with success.

I have a 1915 engine with a 4 speed 901 transmission here in San Diego, CA just in case that matters.

I'm using the CB rotary fuel pump Terry mentioned, but my oil cooler is a DeRale 16-pass with fan. About the same as a Setrab, though.

On the other stuff:

If you want to keep the spare tire, then the stock tank is (I think) about as big as you can go and not make body/pan mods to fit it all in. Others on here may have different stories.
Mat, Henry at Intermeccanica installs an inexpensive oil cooler/fan on his new cars. It may be an Empi, but I'm not sure. I was a bit concerned about going with a cheaper cooler, but he said he has never had one fail. Mine is located in the driver's side rear wheel well.
Here's another source for a rotary fuel pump:

Matt - In my VS I have the standard VS installed gas tank (10gal?). A tank of gas gives me a minimum 230 mile range. Trust me when I say this, on an extended drive you'll want to get out and stretch your legs, pit-stop, take a break, in that time/travel span. FWIW - I've NEVER ever experienced the need for a bigger tank.

In my trunk space (pic below) I carry a 145rx15 spare tire, hydraulic jack (wrapped in blue rag, miscellaneous tools/parts (wrapped in white rag) spare throttle & clutch cable, tire iron, brake fluid, oil, fan belt and odds & ends. In my 130,000Km (80,000mi) logged in this car, that's all I've ever needed.

Mat...3 1/2 Lbs/sq." pump

"I've carried around a quart of oil in various cars for 40+ years and the only time I've ever used it was for someone else's car."

Me too! Matter of fact I recall donating a quart or two to someone at Carlisle. Musta put 6 qt.s in that thing!....that is...until someone figured out it was his Alternator light flashing and NOT the oil pressure light.... ;)
