Years ago I bought a '63 VW delivery van (bus) with no windows - and no power either. It was light blue with Fussell Florist (Front Royal VA) and flowers painted on sides. It had just the right patina - but rusty sills and battery box. Argh, I sanded and painted it Texas Yellow and added RV trailer crank out windows. If I had just left itm it would be worth far more than my improved version. Oh well.

I had both a 61 bus and a 67 camper that I restored and left with my dad as I moved to VA.
He ran it into the ground and parked it and let it rust away...when I moved back to Kauai, the first thing I asked him was where's my van? Sold it (for beer money I'd bet) he said...WTF! I was pissed and never spoke to him for a year. Sad to say he suddenly passed a year later.
Does anyone know anything or have any other pics of the car Bill posted?
