Alan,

It is a beautiful piece of work-and it smells of prototype, I was just thinking "He could sell these" It has a "updated" quality that does not offend and does allure. Like the wide stance, the "s" upfront, and the classy interior treatment, and let's not forget the banjo wheel. Anyone who follows Porsche and the "356" in particular, should take a minute and check this "Sophisticated Speedster" out!

Tim:

I don't remember that you were at Carlisle to see Alan's car, but his inspiration was the 55-56 Corvette (same color combination and similar interior look) and we all thought he nailed it. I was wondering what it would look like with Corvette-like contrasting color "Coves" on the sides...

Besides that, Alan has built one of those rare cars that begs you to walk around it multiple times and on each pass you find a few more things that catch your eye and make you say; "Hey....That's Nice!

There are a few (albeit, VERY few) Street Rod/Hot Rod builders who produce work like that: Cars that you walk around a few times and always find something cool, something different, and always tastefully done.

I guess that's why we go to car shows and cruise nites!!

Oh, I think Kim is STILL right!!!!!

Well gang, sorry to dissapoint and not be a 2009 egg sammich sponsor but, the buyer made 7 phone calls to me in 10 hours today, bottom line is the A-hole didn't want to comply with the terms and conditions of my sale as ststed on eBay, he felt that HE would dictate the terms of the sale NOT. ~Alan
