If anyone EVER come across a body like this for sale, PLEASE post it here for me. Of course, being from New England, I'm . . . . thrifty, so I'm looking for something trashed/broken/ruined/cheap but I HAVE to have one of these bodies. No VW pan or silly stock engine with a dress-up kit and a worn out carb, just the cool extended body . . . OK?

At five gees you could buy it strip it and sell some of the parts and engine here and what other pieces you need to fill up your war chest.... the rest is yours to make up for your thriftiness.

I WISH that something like that could be possible, most Speedsters/replicas are FULL of goodies, top to bottom. That ride seems to have nothing going for it (other than the cool body), stock wheels, stock engine with a silly shroud and some off-road ignition booties, stinky ol' gauges and steering wheel, useless pan with a 2002 title. The rear decklid grills might bring a hundred, maybe dump those PEPBOYS tires, but otherwise it's kinda built outta trash, don't you think?

Maybe I'm wrong. but MAN do I ever want that body shell ! ! I have a full tube chassis almost all ready for it.
