That's a nice car but something doesn't add up.  The injection system, is from a 2.4, 2.7 or 3.0 engine  They used CIS injection and although for the time was OK, without a doubt not the best system.    The owner claims it's a 3.2 engine and if it were a "factory" 3.2 it would have Motronic injection, a totally different and superior form of injection.    All I can assume is the owner had larger cylinders/pistons installed.    The transaxle is from a Carrera (which had a 3.2 engine) and Carrera's were made from 1984 through 1989.   The 1984, 1985 and 1986 Carrera's had a 915 transaxle and the  1987, 1988 and 1989 Carrera's had the G50 Transaxles

Replica ownership is not about investment.  If you have never driven an IM-6 you should; it's the pinnacle of the 356 replica experience.  The 356c will still be in second gear when the IM-6 is doing 100 plus MPH.  It's freaking awesome.
