Okay so Jim Anderson talked me into getting this dune buggie in FL after I pushed a couple Subarus his way. He was kind enough to pick it up as a retirement project for me so I wouldn't be bored in Destin. I've searched hi-low on internet to try to discover the original maker of it. It's on a full size IRS VW pan. The enclosed engine compartment is probably what sets it off from other Model T buggies. It was last on the road in 1991. It was sideline then as #3 cylinder choked on it's exhaust valve but replacement parts were included. Looks like it had a top at one time.

Wife is now wondering why I want to visit the in-laws in FL - my bro-in-law said he'd store it for me. He quipted that collecting guns are much easier to hid. He'll keep my secret cuz I know how many guns he bought on pretect that they were for me (like guns are hard to get in DC?). I'm sure this will cost me another Coach handbag when she finds out!

Ok a little off Speedster topic - but it could be a good donor chassis - especially with those Jackman Fuchs spoked wheels and May-Pop tires! The blue and yellow gems are Jim's future donors!
