So all the work I just had done...which I do believe was worth it, may have come down to me spending 11.20 today at a VW shop. Car was still running rough when I brought it home yesterday. So, at the advice of the guys who fixed it, I put in a new set of size 55 idle jets to replace the new 50's I put in. Car started up, warmed up with no popping or spitting, drove it for about 15 miles, and wouldnt you know it...not ONE damn pop, grunt, miss, spit, hesitiation, coughing, gurgling or crying. WOW. Now I just hope that it wasnt a fluke and maybe the speedster gods wanted me to have one nice drive before the next round of crap happens, but man, how great was that drive! Top down, 70 degrees, and the car ran great.

Got it back in my garage, had it idling and it stalled. turned up the idle a bit and it seems to be really good now. Fingers are crossed that it stays this way!
