Enjoy your cruise Vince. It's sunny and 59F on Canada's West coast today. Speedster is not insured for the winter months but I sure wish is was when we get days like this. Wet weather returns tomorrow so thoughts of Vince and other SoCal Speedster drivers will help keep the spirit alive.
Spring is on the way along with our new IM Roadster 6. Just have to be patient.
Vince -

Our paths may have crossed today on Pacific Coast Highway. We went for a cruise to the Queen Mary and back. Beautiful day, 80 degrees or so.

We're jumping in the Speedy and heading up to the Cental Coast tomorrow morning (Sunday). We'll be spending a couple of days in Cambria, on Moonstone Beach to be exact.

Hope you all have a safe Holiday weekend!

Peace - Out!

Ernie - I hope that dude buys your engine when he sees and hears it! I would be stoked if I could get a ride in your Speedy with that new CB engine - might be my next upgrade! Hope to see you at Paso. You should come whether you're car is done or not - I'm sure there would be an empty right-seat amongst the group!

Darren - I'll be sure to give a shout next time I'm on PCH for a quick cruise - maybe we can talk Desi into hooking up also, or we can meet up for breakfast or lunch in HB.

Vince - Since you rode the Speedy today with the obligatory quality time with the missus, maybe you can terrorize PCH on your hog tomorrow (you KNOW you want to do it!).
Birthday Boy Bates and I took a short run down to EASY Saturday and talked with P-car guys and nosed around the wreckage and rebirthing point of many P-car projects.

Joined the inked and pierced crowd for burgers nearby and then cruised up to Specialty Auto Sales to have a look around at their cars for sale. A number of basic speedsters and a lot of drivers of the musckle car-daze.

Me thinks the weather be improving to the point that Butch moves back to daily driver status. I remember pontificating about being a speedster-driver in all seasons; It's hell getting older and letting the seasons (such as they are out here on the left coast) dictate my driving choices.

If you got 'em, drive 'em!
Long Live So Cal Speedies.. Or as all the other folks put it.. Those Mutha.. F*&^$% in Cali..... Took the right seater out Saturday shopping at local nurrseries (Plants and such) then over to "Tap's" in Brea for some Drinks good chow and a very nice hand-rolled "Beso" cigar(Very cool oustside seating area).... Man what a day...

Looks like most of us took advantage of this weekend...

Speedster "D" ..Smok-in!
haha! I admired your speedie outside of TAPS the other night. It is actually one of the few times I've gotten to look at one of these up-close (hope you don't mind!)

From what I've seen in pictures, I haven't been a fan of the Vintage Speedsters seats but I like the ones you picked out.

Really enjoyed taking a peak at your car.
