I'm moving on to another "project". I am putting "LA BOMBA" up for sale in the fall. I would entertain offers for the car if one of my fellow SOC'ers were seriously interested. Most of you know my car, Its on Intermeccanica's build site, I can send additional pics. The car is in excellent condition. Under 10k miles, 911 running gear, 3.2liter Carrera motor(1986). Steve Wong chip, M&K exhaust, 915 Tranny, with WEVO coupling, Dynoed at 212hp at rear wheels. Have ALL docs and and service records from IM and Power-tech Motors, who have looked after it for me. Over 90k in the build, Asking 75k. Special car for the right person.

Howard-sad and exciting to me at the same time. I hope that whatever the new project is, that it will be something that will continue to tie you to this group.

I can't imagine what the new project could be as to me you have just about the ultimate Speedster replica. It must be something incredible
is all I can say.

Good seeing you at Carlisle.
For those considering Howard's car; that thing is not some experiment with old technology. Don't expect to see anything like it for sale "pre-owned," for a good long time, either. This is a rare good deal.
It's an extraordinarily well-thought-out, brilliantly detailed, excellent-handling machine that happens to look kind of like the Speedsters we've come to expect from IM.

Beautiful car, Howard. Good luck with the sale!
Damn, Its good to hear from my colleagues. I'm not going anywhere, anytime soon(I hope). I'll be at Carlisle, or anywhere we can gather as a group. I'm just ichin' to get to going on another "someting else". I will not give it away, but I also realize that the market is tiny, for a specialty item like this. In the fall, I'll put it up for sale in Robb Report, Hemmings, on the IM website, Classic Car, etc... word of mouth will help. We'll see how it goes.... in the meantime, Its the funnest thing I've ever driven, this side of two wheels. If anyone knows someone who might be interested and who has the coin.... I'm all ears. No time frame, no rush to move it
Throw in all the money you want, gentleman, it will be to no avail. I intend to win the lottery on Wednesday, then fly out and retrieve this elegant automobile then engage in a most adventurous westward journey.

Got to send myself an email to remind self to buy a lottery ticket.

Then one evening on the way home form work the motor caught fire....wouldn't you know that a Vol fireman stopped to "help?" My friend had to almost tackle him say'ing noooooo don't go near it, you might get hurt......replacement was a new F150.
