Kenneth, from what I know they both have "ladder" tubular frames and use VW ball joint front suspensions. IM's use IRS transaxles and I imagine Beck may build them with IRS too, although they might also build a swing arm version for a customer. If you want detailed spec information it's best to go directly to the builder.
I think George is right on this one ...since very few Beck Speedsters are owned by people on this site...you are going to need both parties to compare themselves to the other in order to get an idea of what the specs are of each car
