hi all, I'm coming to the states in April and May with a view to try and purchase a speedster any advice on any dealers known for selling these, or in fact anyone thinking of parting with there's. Projects also considered, most importantly and goes without saying looking for one that Is true to the original shape

"States" is a big place! 14-17 May is the big east coast Carlisle Event (Carlisle, PA). Make known here what you want and you might strike a deal for there. So a wide-body is out? In addition to over 50 owner cars, SE BECK, IM and VS are there with cars exhibited and I suspect available for delivery. A SOC member (local to Carlisle) has contacts with international shipping out of Newark, NJ so it could be stress free transaction. Let's hear your preferences and price point. Aussie, as I noted a couple of days ago, my Speedster was taken in on trade a few weeks ago. "The Last Detail" in the Chicago area just put it up on their site today and have kept the price at bargain level. See link I posted in the classifieds under "Same Car-Different Location"
