Just purchased a '92 IM and the driver's seatbelt is jammed somehow in the retract system. Anybody know how to get into the rear interior wall to get to the system? I tried to lift the rear seat cushion as it blocks some of the partition but it doesn't budge. Is that sucker screwed in or just glued super good? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

On my 2001 Speedster the rear seat cushion was bolted down with two bolts and I had to remove the nuts from under the car. I recall the carpeted pieces that the belts come thru were screwed using phillips head screws, into the back wall and could be reached without removal of the cushion. I had to probe for the screw heads because the carpet did a good job of hiding them.

Good luck.
