IM CV Axle question

What year was your IM built? Also what is the rear suspension Bug, 944 or 911 and what CV joints are you using. There are a few variables that may help determine what it you need.

I don't think you are "pissing them off" They are in a transition mode and there is just is not enough time until things get settled.  I am sure a good VW SHOP can help if your questions cant wait.  Henry wanted the Website back up this weekend and that has not happened yet either.    

Try compressing and measuring the old ones.

As stated; Take the existing axle off and measure it.

ok did all that. it's not stock. I have a set of 90-6900's. There about 15 mm too long

..BUT Henry answered the phone this lovely tahoe morning and filled me in. Seemed much more relaxed.

 It's EMPI Part #16-2202...and the length is 15 5/8. Now that's on the SOC record as well. Thanks for the replies guys

That is a good question. 

I was thinking of phoning Henry to ask about a wind blocker, since my attempt isn't working as it should.

On another note, Robert (or anyone else), do you know if the center, rear brake light is LED or bulb?

I believe the centre stop light that Henry uses has very small lightbulbs in it.  You can take the unit apart, carefully.
