IAM-RAY I suppose that would be an option, but I feel like this IM is better suited to live out her days the way she was born. She's just one of those cars that feels so good, It would be hard to start tearing it apart. I've done it before and regretted it.

I understand, but the frame is the same as my car and after a cradle is made you can easily do a subie install. In fact Anthony @Anthony I think this is his link has done one and his shop is able to do it. In any case those are your options.
Ok I just checked... Anthony's Classic Autowerkes in Auburn California. He's your man I would think to do it. Someone can chime in who owned the car.
Your IM sounds like a really great ride. I was able to find one close to Asheville NC in April and purchased it. Just finished sorting it out and will be upgrading brakes,suspension,trailing arms,wheels and tires this winter.
