I love it just the way it is. The seats and mirrors are the only thing I would change.
Wow ! Deja vu all over again. Same year as my car, almost same price ( I paid $6,500 ) and mine came from just up the road in Boise, Idaho. Change out the seats and a few other bits and you've got a driver / project right there.
Ha ! and I look down beside my keyboard and there's the business card from the Big O Tire shop in Spanish Fork, UT which was about our only delay in driving it home back in 2010.
Didn't last long! Some patina there - doubt it would buff out!
If I hadn't bought the Spyder already I'd have given this one a serious look as a 1st Subification resale project. If the pan's there it's a good deal for sure.
This is what I started with, Ed. Boise, Idaho, 2010 6,500 bananas and never looked back. Shyt like this cannot be ignored and I still miss the patina....ya can't really buy that stuff. See you soon....
On our way back today from Utah via hwy 80, Andie and I saw this speedster heading west out of Elko, Nevada. The car looked very cool, very soulful. Somebody got a really good deal.
