Perfect. Thanks Marty
M,
What tires you running? Size and make. Just got new Yoko's but fronts look too small.
205 60 15 rear 195 60 15 front (might go back to 205's)
mine look the same as Marty's except on the top of the tunnel in front of the shifter
195 front/205 rear is a common combo.
If you have 6" wide wheels in the front and 7" wide in the rear I'd recommend keeping your present setup.
Appreciate the response's
205/50 front, 225/50 rear
205/50 front, 225/50 rear
Gordon, that's on a flared body, right? 225/50 probably won't fit on the rear in a non-flared IM. I have seen 215s on the rear of an IM, though (paper thin fender clearance).
Yes, that's on a flared-fendered CMC, running 7"F and 8"R Fuchs with 1.125" spacers.
Actually, by the time I get to Carlisle, I'll be running 205's all around (and wondering how it's gonna handle, now!)
How's the steering with 205s up front? I find mine heavy enough with 185s.
I don't know. haven't driven with 185's, just like the largest contact patch possible. Front end used to push with the old 205's with very little throttle in the corners. Seemed to like no throttle to load the front end a little more. Hoping it was just old/hard tires.
