Definitely a great looking car. Must of been joy to build back then for Henry and his dad. Wonder where the molds are now.
Yup real steel. Crappy ad though and ouch $169k.
WOW! Cool.
Must be fun keeping those wire wheels clean.
Veddy Nice !!!
Looks a little like a Daytona Spider?
I've been watching it on eBay. It's been up a couple of times with lots of photos.
Here is the most recent.

Cleaning wire wheels..... steam clean then final rinse with dish washer rinse, dries spot free.

You'd need a pretty big dish washer.....

Spray bottle
You can say it is a beauty and all but it is still and orphan and the result is one will own it for a long long time. It's called a vertical market.

I'm betting that $169K coach-built will never see weather inclement enough to sully the wheels. Check out the "garage" where it's parked in the picture.
If you thought the black one was expensive......

With Henry's permission, I'm enclosing pictures of my 1969 Italia that he just purchased. I call these pictures father and son. Can't wait to see it done.
Can't wait to see Henrys talents on this one. Would have loved to had the time to do a LS6 conversion and full Corvette suspension but too many other projects.
That is, I'm afraid, a Miata with a body kit on it. Not bad looking, but not a real Italia.
EDIT: Which I would have known you were aware of had I read the sheet in the second picture. Oops.
Those wheels on the red Italian look like they came off an MGB.
They are the original Magnum 500"s with the Intermeccanica center caps. The car has a Ford drivetrain and rear suspension. The Italian cobra!
