Someone should JUMP ON THIS....very nice and love the leather patina RED. Just might have to mull this one(LOL...just kidding!)
Needs a little cosmetic work, but if it's mechanically sound then that's a heck of a price for a tube-frame IM.
*opening bid. Not "buy it now".

Less than 7 days for an early STOCKING STUFFER
I love when they say no reserve but the starting bid is close enough to what the car is worth
Nice car but 21 year old car, needs some work.
Very nice .....fix the seats and head on down the highway
Wngd ... your not wrong, not a good value, even at the starting price!
If I was near I would take a close look at it then deduct from that price everything I needed to put into it... , as once you start getting into it you'll be adding quite a few K's$
Just saying

DISAGREE....I BEG TO DIFFER.......yes will need a bit here and there but if it checks out and needs 3 to 5K....then to have a NICE ROADIE/ac/LEATHER for low 30s? sounds good to me?
Where can you get a DECENT/CLEAN/well "SORTED"(I love that ridiculous word) IM Roadster for LOW 30s???
A new one is DOUBLE THAT.....high 60s/low 70s?
This car, barring eyesight deficiencies and photoshop fake-news, looks DARN CRISP and CLEAN....
just sayin

Once again, the STARTING BID is $29,999 so you won't likely get it for that in order to "to have a NICE ROADIE/ac/LEATHER for low 30s" once you fix up what inevitably needs to be addressed.
The starting values for these used cars is different for everyone. I was simply pointing out that no reserve is nothing to get excited about when the starting bid is set at $30K. And pointing out what a new IM costs when this is a 21 year old car doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Maybe just me.

Sorry Banzai, my valuation of used IM's comes from having bought and sold over 20 cars befor I was 20 and I think at last count I have owned 48 cars so I may not get it right all the time but in my opinion the condition of the car at that age cannot be stellar even if it looks good from 20 feet. The final tally of repairs would surprise some but I would not be surprised hence my reluctance to be enamoured with a 20 year old car.

You could very well be RIGHT!
Overpriced at it's current $29K. But a very nice car.
Can't fix the drivers seat with out it looking mismatched. AC line is about to blow out. The rest looks good.
DISAGREE: love leather patina...patch will add character and it looks GREAT! If a PPI checks out and NO big issues....fairly priced! how many crisp/clean IM ROADIES, in excellent(?) shape/AC are available for 30K?
Supply and demand...if everyone who wanted a ROADIE could afford to buy a new one, its resale value would be NIL...BUT 30K/70K equation to cruise in comfort?
Buy a new SPEEDIE from HUBBARD/30K or ? or? or?
Roadster/rollup windows/nice top/AC......Leather albeit tear 30K or?
If that's the IM that sold at Carlisle for like $22k or something then it's still a good deal at $30k.
I guess the market doesn't think it's such an obvious deal since they haven't got even an opening bid at $29,999 ....
The fact that it's 21 years old and higher mileage than typically seen (41,000 miles, not necessarily a bad thing) and the seller suggests for any technical question that you call Intermeccanica who may not have seen the car in 20+ years, may give some pause for thought at $30,000 .... jmo
Pretty car though....although I'd be a touch worried that the owners decision not to fix those seats might be indicative of the overall state of maintenance.

There IS A BID, actually, and without a PRE-PURCHASE INSPECTION....it is truly an OPEN BOOK with NO ANSWERS until there are answers. Could be anything between CRAP and AMAZING

ALSO..there could be back channel negotiations going on with inspections...My IM6 purchase took place VIA Ebay ad and there were at least 4 or 5 potential buyers doing inquiries and negotiations OUTSIDE of bid view. The NO BID/ONE BID is not truly indicative of the action with any CERTAINTY.
40 minutes left, we'll see if opening bid actually takes it on a no reserve ad. I have also seen the seller with the typical "reserve the right to pull the auction" if the no reserve but minimum bid required didn't hit what they wanted. ebay games
And dealers always tell you there's a few other potential buyers interested ..... you better not wait

Just as a point of information...there were at least TWO other members of SOC bidding on my IM6 by their own admittance....and evidenced at length by a number of TOPICS discussed at the end of March/early APRIL 2017 on this very site...... ..NOT a fabrication by the dealer and HARD REALITY.
SOLD
1 bid
$29,999
Hope somebody got a good deal.
Edit: To clarify, I was not referencing your car or your ebay experience or your dealer. Just generalizing. It's not unusual for dealers to tell a prospective buyer that others are interested, even if there isn't.
