For the right price that would be a great project car.
Mis-advertised as a 1959 Porsche 911 sold by malibucarz! Not even listed in right category of kit-replica. Is that a Mustang interior?
Ebay seems to be slipping as there are many replicas listed as real Porsche. They should be listed under:
Project Jim ? Shyt....mine has now been downgraded to a rat rod I guess ! :-) I think this might be one hell of an entry level deal. Is that a Roadster windshield I see and a Roadster lid under the rear cover. Were those actually roll up windows with a seal at the rear of the windshield posts ? I don't know anything about the engine build but the seller just told me the build was done in 1997 so it's Canadian ok for import. The seller acknowleges that the seats need to go. It has a freeway flyer tranny. I'm interested. If I didn't have my current ride I'd be all over that bugger like a cheap suit !
That is a tube frame car. These seats were used in a lot of the early Intermecannica conv. D's. I think it's a hell of a buy and the reserve is met! Would like to see the condition of the top though.
I would much rather have that one than the one I just got that is unfinished, but the price is cuerntly out of my reach. Those seats do look like dogydoo doo, atleast mine has some real nice seats with tubular frames.& good seat work.but I cant drive mine.....
I also don't like the seats, but the price seems very fair, considering its condition.
Id the Ebrake under the dash on this one?
Two things I like about this guy:
Ebrake isn't visible
Front wheels are centered with the wheel wells.
What I hate:
Seats/head rests
Shifter knob (hell, pretty much the whol interior color) haha
The e-brake is located on the left side of the tunnel below the shifter. The seats are Recaro's. The owner must have been a big boy or it sat out in the rain a few times!
I wouldn't chuck the seats, if they're Recaros, but the headrests are HUGE and the seat bottoms are bagged, along with the worn driver's seat bolster.
Id just fix the seats& drive.
