IM seat tracks

I used these when I installed my latest seats in my CMC.  They work fine.

They also have a mounting bracket to elevate the seat a few inches, but since our seats sit so low, I didn't use it.

Same here, just need to bend the lever a bit to get it out of the way.

oooh!   I forgot about the "bending the lever" part.  I mounted my glides right on the floor (I think Bill must have, too) and the lever ends up being 1/8" off the floor.  A slight upward bend on the lever with a piece of pipe angles it up nicely to make it more accessible.

cover both seats?

Nope.

A "set" is for one seat - 2 glides.

What's the stand-off of these? An inch? 3/4? Any idea?

Gordon gave me the source for the exact replacements. The track mounts

flush on the floor with no space between it.

IIRC, the glide is about 3/4" - 1" high (thick?)  and has a pair of studs on the bottom that go through the floor to hold them down - they have protective covers (they look like feet) on them in the photo.  

I also used a pair of 2-1/2" wide X 16" long X 1/4" thick steel stock straps (Home Depot) under the floor, oriented across the car to provide additional strength/support, so the seats don't tear loose in a crash.

That place you sent me, seem to be the exact replacements. What 

I need now is the upper hood latch. The spring shaft with the emergency 

catch. Have any ideas?

I'll go out to my shop and see if I have one

What would shipping cost if I was skinny?

Thanks, I don't know what kind of deal you could make,

determed by your weight. Usually, the lighter the package, 

the lower the cost.

Hopefully, the IM floor pans and central tunnel are different from a CMC.  The CMC tapers narrower as you go to the rear of the seat well because both the floor and rear of the tunnel corners are radiused.  I ended up "adjusting" the tunnel side a touch (BMFH) to get enough clearance for the glide and seat corner.  Did it cold (no torch heat) because of the fuel line inside, but it didn't have to move very much.

I temporarily mounted the seats, and I think I'm good. I just assembled 

the car quickly so my upholstery shop can put in the rugs and the top.

I just got caught in a downpower  in my Cab, and the top doesn't go up.

It wasn't too bad until I slowed down.
