I'm finally putting the seats in the car. I never tried the seat slides before.

I can't save them. Vintage speedster doesn't have them. Any leads?

Also, there is a rubber sleeve behind the steering wheel that covers

the adapter, I need that too. After I get past these 2 issues, it's on it's

way to have the rugs and top done. The seats I had done a year ago.

I'm getting  close.

IIRC, the glide is about 3/4" - 1" high (thick?)  and has a pair of studs on the bottom that go through the floor to hold them down - they have protective covers (they look like feet) on them in the photo.

I also used a pair of 2-1/2" wide X 16" long X 1/4" thick steel stock straps (Home Depot) under the floor, oriented across the car to provide additional strength/support, so the seats don't tear loose in a crash.

Hopefully, the IM floor pans and central tunnel are different from a CMC.  The CMC tapers narrower as you go to the rear of the seat well because both the floor and rear of the tunnel corners are radiused.  I ended up "adjusting" the tunnel side a touch (BMFH) to get enough clearance for the glide and seat corner.  Did it cold (no torch heat) because of the fuel line inside, but it didn't have to move very much.
