Hi Everyone, Well,After several weeks of "researching" different companies, going to Carlisle, test driving, speaking to and with different owners, checking out engines, options, Ive parked my money with Henry at Intermeccanica for a Full blown 3.2 liter/915, speedster, no ac, vintage look, the rest to be determined as we proceed for the 07 build. Marcos built a 3.2 liter, lives close in NJ and his car is just got an unbelieveable performance envelope. My car will be a culmination of the George Brown/Dale Bates/Jim Ward cars. A little from each, from certainly will be my own. Low Bow top, polished 16 in Fuchs wheels with 205/225 rubber, Porsche 911 suspension components, with poly bushings all around. This is going to be GREAT. Thanks to all that helped put me in the "right" direction.

Thanks for the feedback. Ive been all over the map, with this. I thought about a Type 4 Raby motor, I even bought a buildable case, already to but a 2563 Kit, 180hp etc etc... A 3.2/915 transaxel fell out of the sky for less money, then it would take me to build the Type 4. Ofcourse nothing is that simple, now I need the Speedster 6 coach package with modified suspension to accept the 3.2 and additional weight. Alls right with the world when you have Henry to hold your hand and a steller group of owners to bounce things off of.
Hi all, Well Marcos and I got together this Sunday. Now I GET it! To all of those out there, I cant wait to join you. We drove for about 30-45 minutes. Ive never experience an open car with the stiffness and rigidity of this IM. Power beyond belief 265hp without even breathing hard. No real penalty for the additional weight of the 3.2liter. Just an UNBELIEVEABLE ride. When I think of all the sports cars out there that are yesterday's news in a couple of years, and see what Henry can do for less money, there is no choice. A car that can live forever, confortable, fun, serviceable, and RARE.
