Well, Henry should be getting started with my build in February. Im very excited about this project. After thoughtful consideration, reading different posts, looking at many vintage pictures, and my own intuition, Ive decided on a mid-sixties Corvette Marina/Nassau blue (code 976) for the exterior. A dark Navy blue soft top. The interior is a dark cherry red leather dash/seat/side panel combo with a light blue German square weave carpet, with dark blue piping. No side trim, except for a simple "speedster" script on the side panels and "Carrera" on the back hood. Carrera louvers, Color keyed Talbot mirrors, Polished 16in Fuchs, Vintage radio,Hella Fogs with vertical grills, on and on. Dale, youre right about choosing colors. This car should pop!

Oops, I forgot to reply. Been a bit busy of late. The car's been back in the shop for the last month, I was rear ended. I pick it up tomorrow to try test it over the weekend, then next week it goes back for a new exhaust system and some other modifications that should give it the zing that it deserves. I'll have useful information after that.

I was at IM the other day, was yours the one that went to paint yesterday ?

Gz
Hi John, Im sorry to hear about your mishap. At least your local and have access to IM at your door. Henry left for Carlisle this AM, but he said that my chassis is painted and should be mated to the body today. I assume its then a trip to the paint shop. The speedster 6 you saw should be mine. I heard that you weren't happy with the sound of your exhaust. Could you please explain. These cars aren't quiet, but they shouldn't be fatigueing to drive distances either. GlAD YOUR GETTING YOUR CAR BACK. Tomm will just have to cool his jets. The wait will be worth it.
