What year is your IM
The Convertible D pretty much rules out most others. Is it perhaps a stock 356 windshield? See if it has a stock # or maker on it (has to somewhere by DOT regulation).
If it's the regular Speedster windshield, this may be it:

Ad copy says 12 7/8" high, if you're measuring yours with trim installed and on the car, I'd say that's it. The trim and gaskets add an inch.
A Speedster windshield as supplied by the excellent people at Beck will measure 12 15/16" at the center....perhaps a hair less , unmounted, ROOTB. .
The problem is a D has a taller windshield and is square in its upper corners. It has to be a stock 356 windshield or a cut down one.
The Porsche 356A Convertible D was manufactured for the 1959 model-year only. Easily identified by chrome windshield posts that are bigger and higher than the Speedster, and by the two upper corners making an angle with the top of the chrome frame (rather than the rounded corners of the Speedster)
If it's an IM, why can't you get one there?
Stoddard lists the D/Roadster vs Speedster windshield (ouch, price is like $900 for D). The D/Roadster one indeed measures 13 7/8" high at center (the Speedster an inch shorter). They carry clear and tinted. (In Victoria, BC - you're so close to IM - would think they could get one for you and save boxing/US to Canada shipping issues).

It was suggested by IM that I deal with Stoddards, shipping, duty and exchange puts these out of my price range.IM's supplier has gone out of business, so they wont sell any that they have in stock, but use them in there new vehicles.
Bummer, looks like you have no choice...
Maybe make a post on the samba and you might get lucky.
Also, try rustytubs
I am in the same boat hate to say.
If you find one cheaper I would love to hear about it.
