Except for the driving lights, it’s a lot like my old Red Rooster. That was a great IM D.
Does anyone have a view on how much better the Canadian made models are vs the ones built in California? I think IM made some design changes in 1990 - does anyone know what those were - I can't tell what year this car was built.
I looked at the door panels and those are really old looking and not at all like IM's newer ones so I have no clue on the age except that the tube frames are 1984 ish onwards and these were built in Canada not in the USA IMO.

You are absolutely CORRECT(IMO)
If it has a tube frame, it's worth looking at and possibly purchasing.

Absolutely CORRECTAMUNDO
The low, flat tunnel and location of the e-brake indicate a tube frame, but it looks like an early one.

That’s correct, and good deduction. I’m not that sharp, so I just read the text of the ad where it said it had a “ladder frame.”
Practically speaking, whats the difference between a ladder frame and the latest kind?
In reality the frame is the same as today but there may have been slight tweaks. The language used is not accurate. It never was a ladder frame.
Beck's have a more ladder frame setup I believe.
