Matt - I think you have "HER Day" part right (especially if her dad is paying that bill) plus you are subconsciously setting her up for bringing home a Speedie to match the coveted wedding pictures in the future. Good thinking! It would be cool as you go off from the reception with cans and old shoes dragging to have a dozen other Speedies (out of the blue) joint the entourage.
I think Vince's idea of a bunch of you locals showing up with your Speedsters for the wedding is a hoot. My son, Chris, used my Pearl Speedster as his get-away car at his wedding, and they used it a little in the wedding photo shoot, too. I'll see if I can find a picture and post it....

A friend of mine has been a Hot Rodder ('34 Ford Panel Truck) for over 30 years. His daughter married the son of a fellow hot rodder ('50 Merc Lead Sled) and almost everyone at the wedding had a custom car of some sort, which they all drove to the wedding. Imagine 40+ Rods and Customs all lined up in front of the church!!

Dennis - Our wedding is set for May, Memorial weekend, but we were hoping to take pictures beforehand with the speedster. We were thinking in January or February when her wedding dress arrives.

Jim - Looks like I just missed this weekends meeting in malibu. When and where do you guys meet up for your cruises? Where do you guys usually cruise to? How many people bring out their speedsters? I would love to come by and meet you guys and see your cars.

David: Thanks for you interest in helping. I was going through some of the other posts on the website and came across your car. I was going to email you and ask you but Dennis posted saying he will help. Our date is not set yet for our pictures but we were thinking of some time in January or February. Since Dennis offered his car first, I would like to take him up on his offer. I would love to use your car if Dennis cannot make it for some reason. I will definitely keep up on this forum.

I also think I am going to go with Gabriel's Ivory speedster. I like the Ivory and the misses likes the black.

Any plans for another So Cal meeting anytime soon? Perhaps the day we decide to do our wedding photos? =)
No worries Matt, Dennis has a sweet tub and you'll be very happy with it I am sure of that.. Gabe's Ivory tub is a sweet looking tub too. Matt, I am glad your doing his NOW so after the wedding your new bride will be up to purchasing one for yourselves too! LOL.. NICE move here... LOL.. and then you two can join us on our runs...

WOW, cant beleive someone already beat me to it, by a year.

If anyone is in need of a little extra cash I'm willing to pay $300 CASH to drive it from bride's house, to church (Holy Spirit, then to take pictures, and then to the reception. Mileage is well under 60 total. The owner of the car is also invited to the wedding. I can also have it returned to the owner once we're dropped off at the reception spotless.

I have included a contract please take a look.
